The volume of clients in need of assistance has tripled but our donations have not kept up.  If you can give a donation of food please bring it to the narthex and drop it in the bin or consider placing a donation in the poor box.

FROM THE PASTOR'S CORNER

Please join me in wishing Fr. Waldemar Maciag well as he begins a new step in his journey as a preist.  Bishop Wenski has requested that Fr. Waldemar join St. Paul's Parsih in Leesburg effective the 13th of November. Please join us for a farewell in the PLC on November 29th following the 12:15 Mass.

Advent is coming which means it is the time for forgiving others as well as ourselves. Forgiveness is one of the hardest acts for so many of us to do. I encourage all parishioners who have forgotten the joy of being forgiven by God through the Sacrament of Reconciliation to attend our Adult Faith Formation program on November 45 at 7 pm.  Deacon Pat McAvoy will prepare you to fully celebrate the Sacrament this Advent.

As we move closer to the Thanksgiving holiday I would ask that all of us spend the time planning what they can do to reach out and serve others. The holidays truly remind us that there is still so much to do to feed the hungry, clothe the naked, help the sick and comfort the lonely.

In response to the recent healthcare concerns and our local economic situation, we are aware of a number of families in our parish that may not have health insurance but are in need of a physician for their children.  If you are a parishioners at Holy Family, do not have medical insurance and are not on medicaid then we have a pediatrician who will meet with you after the 12:15 Mass on Sundays.

In Christ,
Fr. Ennis
